Raw Materials Procurement Manager (M/F)
Main Missions:
- Procurement Management
Trigger, monitor, and secure procurement orders (raw materials, components, packaging, etc.) for the Labarthe sur lèze, Bédarieux, and Madagascar sites. Analyze net requirements from the ERP/MRP and adjust orders according to constraints (stock, safety, MOQ, seasonality). Ensure the reliability of lead times with suppliers. Manage follow-ups, delays, shortages, and corrective actions.
- Inventory Management
Guarantee optimized stock levels based on rotation objectives and minimums required by the client. Update safety stocks and MRP parameters. Monitor risks of obsolescence, overstock, and shortages; propose action plans.
- Supplier Relations
Maintain proactive communication with suppliers and ensure weekly follow-ups. Participate in monitoring supplier performance (OTD, quality). Contribute to the resolution of discrepancies (quantity, quality, delivery delay, transport, documentation).
- Internal Coordination
Work in close collaboration with: Production (needs, planning, prioritization), Purchasing (contracts, prices, conditions), Logistics/ Receiving (reservations, disputes), Quality (non-conformities, blocks). Participate in client market reviews with the sales department.
- Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Track and update procurement KPIs (shortages, coverage, OTD, etc.). Identify areas for improvement (flows, MRP settings, processes). Contribute to the implementation of supply chain best practices.
Required Skills:
- Good mastery of an ERP/MRP (Cegid Orli and Cégid retail SCM).
- Understanding of Supply Chain mechanisms: Stocks, lead times, MOQ, Safety stocks.
- Comfortable with Excel and speaking English.
- Knowledge of import/export logistics and Incoterms.
- Ability to manage pressure and emergencies.
- Clear and concise communication.
- Service level: lines delivered on time.
- Shortage rate (% or shortage hours).
- Stock coverage and rotation.
- Supplier lead time compliance (OTD).
- Accuracy of MRP data.
Profile / Experience
- Bac + 2 to Bac+5 (supply chain, logistics, purchasing, industrial management).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, planning, or purchasing (beginners accepted depending on context).
- Operational English.
