The Sustainment Solutions business area is responsible, among other things, for the sale, offering, and delivery of life cycle support and software products. The business area is also responsible for the strategic partnership with the Finnish Defence Forces and Patria's authority business.

We are now looking for an expert for the Hallin site for the position of Supervisor, Logistics A practical and development-oriented logistics supervisor to lead the internal logistics team in a demanding aerospace industry operating environment. The position is primarily on-site work at the Hallin site, as the role is strongly situated in the daily life of production and material flows. Your task The Supervisor, Logistics acts as an operational supervisor in the internal logistics team. You are responsible for the smooth daily work of the team, the management of material flows, and ensuring that logistics operations support production needs safely, qualitatively, and efficiently. The team currently consists of about six people, and the role emphasizes both people management and an understanding of practical execution. In your work, you will monitor and report operational metrics, ensure compliance with and development of instructions, orient and train team members, and participate in practical work if necessary. The operating environment is strictly instructed and audited, so occupational safety, quality, correct handling of materials, and systematicity are key parts of daily life. Your key tasks include, among others:

• daily leadership and organization of work for the internal logistics team
• ensuring the smoothness of material flows according to production needs
• ensuring occupational safety, quality, and compliance with instructions
• monitoring KPI metrics, reporting, and operational development
• orienting, training, and supporting the competence of team members
• cooperation with production, other logistics operations, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• identifying and implementing new operating methods to support growing material flows.

What do we expect from you? Success in this position requires an understanding of logistics as a whole, experience in supervisory work, and the ability to operate in a demanding industrial environment. We are looking for a person who can lead daily operations decisively and fairly, while simultaneously developing operations forward in a solution-oriented and practical manner. We expect from you:

• suitable logistics education and strong logistics expertise
• experience working in an industrial environment
• previous experience in supervisory or foreman roles
• good organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• the ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders
• good IT skills and the ability to learn systems
• fluent Finnish language skills and good English language skills.
