The Sustainment Solutions business area is responsible for, among other things, the sale, offering, and delivery of lifecycle support and software products. The business area is also responsible for the strategic partnership with the Finnish Defence Forces and Patria's authority business.

We are now looking for a person to join our team with the title Material Planner

for a fixed-term replacement until 31.12.2027. In this role, you will be responsible for material planning tasks for the chemical service and for ensuring the availability of materials to the customer as part of the Supply Chain / Material Services function. You will work as part of a team responsible for the material planning of chemicals, consumables, and spare parts for service agreements and delivery projects, as well as managing statutory obligations related to chemicals. You will work in close cooperation with the customer as well as purchasing, procurement, logistics, production, and technical experts. In your role, you are responsible for ensuring the availability of chemical service materials in cooperation with various stakeholders. Your work includes, among other things, defining items and maintaining databases, material change management and coordination, customer cooperation, and the design and development of service solutions. You will prepare consumption forecasts and implementation plans and monitor the realization of deliveries. Your tasks may also include, among other things, reporting-related tasks, maintaining price lists, and managing statutory obligations related to the chemical service, such as tasks related to safety data sheets and authority reporting. The role will be shaped according to the selected person's expertise and experience. What kind of expert are we looking for? Your working style is careful, systematic, persistent, and self-directed. You enjoy taking responsibility for your work and driving matters forward decisively. • A suitable degree in business administration or a technical field (e.g., AMK-business degree or AMK-engineer)
• English language skills for working in an international operating environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Familiarity with an ERP system
• A customer-service-oriented and collaborative working attitude
• Readiness to learn new systems and operating methods
• A careful, systematic, and proactive way of working
• The ability to take responsibility and promote matters persistently
