We are now looking for Data Specialist
to join Patria's PLM team to develop and ensure that data, structures, documentation, work instructions, and training materials related to technology transfer work in practice – in the daily lives of both Patria and our partners.
In the role of Data Specialist, you will act as an interface between the business and partners and will collaborate with Group IT. You will ensure that the data transferred to partners is timely, high-quality, appropriate, and usable by the recipient. The role emphasizes data processing, application integrations, data model compatibility, and data visualization so that projects, partners, and management gain clear visibility into the whole.
The goal is to reduce manual work, improve the quality of information transfer, and accelerate production and technology transfer to partners. In your role, you will drive solutions that allow data to move in a controlled, secure, and correct format between Patria and partners.
Your key areas of responsibility In this role, you are responsible for developing and standardizing the data model related to technology transfers: what data is transferred, in what format, and at what quality level. You define and manage production, quality, configuration, and documentation data structures and ensure traceability, version control, and audit readiness in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
You will act as a key user and developer for the Teamcenter Delivery tool and Teamcenter Multisite modules. You will advance development needs together with the PLM team, application vendors, and other expert teams. Additionally, you will develop digital tools that support technology transfer, such as various PLM solutions.
You will support technology transfer projects in data management, reporting, and quality assurance, and in cooperation with partners, ensure the capability to receive, send, interpret, and utilize transferred data. You will also ensure that data processing is secure and meets requirements related to export control, contracts, and IPR restrictions.
What kind of expert are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced expert for this position who has a strong understanding of data transfer, data models, system integrations, and information management processes. Teamcenter and PLM expertise are particularly important for this role. We value experience in how data is transferred in a controlled manner, for example, between Patria and international partners, and how to ensure data usability at the receiving end.
Your background could be, for example, an engineer; a highly educated professional in production engineering, information management, or another suitable field. The position does not specifically require a traditional IT background; you could also come from business, product development support organizations, production development, or another business-oriented environment.
You will succeed in this role if you enjoy developing even when tools and operating models are not yet ready. You need the ability to grasp complexities, advance matters in cooperation with various stakeholders, and bring structure and quality to an environment where data portability, traceability, and security are of great importance.
Fluent English skills are required for the position. The role may include traveling to partner countries, for example, to assess partners' system environments and data receiving capabilities.
