We are looking for a ResidentEngineer who will be responsible of delivering Oracle Linux Virtual Manager forthe customer. Must have working and hands on knowledge and expertise ofOracle's technologies such as Oracle Linux and OLVM. Responsibilities displayed inthe job posting: We are looking for a PrincipalEngineer who will be responsible for the installation, Configuration andMaintenance of Oracle's technologies and products. Must be proficient and havehands-on working experience on the following areas. • Oracle Linux • Oracle LinuxVirtual Manager (OLVM) and Coriolis (if any) • Intel x86 Servers • Backup andRestoration • Servers and OSAdministration • ServersConsolidation and Migration Scope: Full time ResidentEngineer providing Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux Virtual Manager L2/L3 supportas follow.
- The Oracle resource will work9am to 6pm on business days (Mon-Fri)
- Applying of Oracle criticalpatches for Oracle Linux Operating System and OLVM
- Planning, migrating andmanaging OLVM
- Perform all OLVM/systemactivities (related to Oracle Linux and OLVM) as required and requested.
- Provide support for:
- VM template creation on OLVM
- OLVM design and configurationassistance.
- OLVM Support andtroubleshooting assistance throughout the project timeline.
- Post-migration OLVM healthverification and OLVM production support.
- Standby support duringmigration windows for OLVM platform issues.
- Assist customer withautomation & monitoring routines for OLVM.
- Perform duties on supportingoperational / technical aspects of the Oracle Linux and OLVM.
