Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

PURPOSE / MISSION

Ensure the operation of the plant equipment through the execution of preventive, corrective, improvement, and predictive maintenance activities in accordance with the guidelines established by the company.

EDUCATION

Technologist in automation, instrumentation and/or control, electronic, mechatronics, or electrical with competencies in automation.

English A2 for technical reading.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• More than 1 year of experience as an industrial machine technician.
• Knowledge in automation, electronics, and power transmission.
• PLC programming languages.
• Operating systems.
• Interpretation of electrical blueprints.
• Frequency inverters.
• Servomotors
• Knowledge in industrial safety and control networks.
• PLC and HMI programming.
• Process automation.
• Industrial instrumentation.
• Knowledge in Siemens and Rockwell Automation.
• Knowledge in Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work on electronic maintenance plans, process automation, server management, and industrial networks.

Perform inspections, adjustments, lubrication, preventive, corrective, improvement, or predictive maintenance on plant equipment.

Support the execution of tests for the development of new products or equipment.

Prepare mechanical blueprints for assigned equipment.

Participate in and support tasks involving the conditioning, restoration, assembly, and disassembly of equipment.

Propose improvements to the maintenance plans of the equipment in charge.

Prepare reports of daily maintenance activities, use assigned tools properly, and maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace or station.
