Our innovative technology enables the processing of use cases that are currently beyond the reach of even the most powerful supercomputers; these cases can concern both industrial application challenges and the needs of fundamental sciences. Job Description As an AIT Technician, you will be part of PASQAL's Canadian production team, building a world-class quantum computer in one of the most advanced technological fields shaping the 21st century. Based on your knowledge and experience, your role will be to build specific assemblies of our computers, support other assembly teams, and be the reference for complex assembly tasks. The production center is located at Espace Quantique 1, a unique building housing quantum companies in Quebec's Quantum Innovation Zone. Your mission:

• Assemble quantum processing unit subsystems using manufacturing processes involving execution software and a resource scheduler.
• Execute test plans to validate compliance.
• Repair, rework, or modify sub-assemblies to bring them into compliance with specifications.
• Install test configurations and alignment benches.
• Prepare workstations for each manufacturing configuration.
• Provide active feedback to the engineering teams.
• Be involved in manufacturing best practices and general quality management.
• Support manufacturing-related tasks.
• Document procedures, tests, and work processes.
• Play an active role in continuous improvement.

About you More than 3 years of professional experience in a high-tech industrial sector

You demonstrate good knowledge in the assembly and testing of high-precision opto-mechanical systems.

You possess good manual dexterity and great attention to detail.

You have a strong ability to work independently, with limited supervision.

You understand bills of materials and assembly procedures.

You enjoy teamwork and interact well with engineers and technical experts.

You are a team player, versatile, organized, proactive, autonomous, and creative.

Ability to anticipate, results-oriented, with a strong commitment to reducing lead times in a demanding scientific and technical context

English: full professional proficiency indispensable (written and oral) French is a plus, but not required

Additional assets Experience in optics or lasers

Experience in manufacturing scientific equipment or in deep tech
