Senior Supervisor (Sales Operations & Customer Service) - JY

Job ID: 20379 Location: Changi Airport Working hours: 9am - 6pm Salary: up to $5,000 (Depending on experiences) Job Description A senior operational role responsible for the effective coordination and execution of daily sales activities, including cargo reservations, space control, client communication, and data management. The role is expected to handle operational matters independently, resolve customer and shipment-related issues, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to process improvements while supporting the achievement of sales and service targets. Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage the reservation acceptance process and maintain accurate data for outbound cargo shipments.
• Apply established cargo pricing and prepare or coordinate cargo load plans and related diagrams based on operational requirements.
• Manage daily space control activities for shipments, exercising sound judgement in space allocation and escalating exceptional cases to management where necessary.
• Respond accurately and promptly to customer inquiries, sales claims, and operational issues, including more complex cases that require coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and manage the customer information database, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.
• Proactively maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure service satisfaction, address operational concerns, and support repeat business.
• Identify customer needs and operational issues and work closely with relevant internal teams to provide appropriate solutions and maintain service quality.
• Provide timely and accurate sales and customer information to support the Administration Section in the collection and settlement of outstanding operating receivables.
• Liaise with customers, where necessary, to facilitate the timely resolution of outstanding payment matters.
• Monitor daily sales and operational activities and highlight significant issues, trends, or areas requiring management attention.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales administration processes, data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and overall service delivery, and provide recommendations to management where appropriate.
• Provide guidance and operational support to junior team members and share relevant knowledge, procedures, and best practices within the Sales team.
• Ensure that all sales and operational activities are carried out in accordance with established company procedures, policies, and protocols.
• Perform other sales operations and customer service-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement Qualifications & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in air cargo sales or freight forwarding
• 1-2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of air cargo products and services
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Familiarity with air cargo documentation and processes
• Knowledge of local market and customer base
