Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Dusty. Hot. Outdoors. Work setting: Rural area.

Tasks:

• Diagnose livestock health issues.
• Direct farm feed inventory activities .
• Direct farm grooming activities .
• Handling animals.
• Monitoring animal health.
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• Treat livestock health issues.
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
• Maintain livestock performance records.
• Maintain quality control and production records.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Hire and train staff.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Perform general farm duties.

Supervision:

3-4 people.

Equipment and machinery experience:

Tractor.

Area of specialization:

Agricultural livestock service. Cattle genomics. Beef cattle. Horses.
