SOC Analyst Junior – Cybersecurity

Job Description / Functions We are looking for a SOC Analyst Junior to join the Cybersecurity team. The selected person will report to the head of the area and will participate in the integration and management of security controls related to password strength within an international corporate environment. They will be the technical reference in password audit processes, collaborating with different infrastructure teams to prevent the use of weak credentials and ensure compliance with security policies.

Minimum Requirements Manage and resolve incidents detected during password security scans. Maintain and update technical and troubleshooting documentation. Coordinate troubleshooting sessions with network, systems, databases, and other technical teams. Develop and communicate coverage and compliance indicators to the security team and various committees. Analyze the root cause of incidents and propose preventive actions to avoid recurrence. Participate in the integration of security solutions within the corporate environment. Collaborate in the continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes. Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or similar. Knowledge of systems administration, networks, and databases. Understanding of security risks and cybersecurity best practices. Analytical capacity and problem-solving skills. Teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary teams. Organization and attention to detail. Proactivity and eagerness to learn. Ability to document technical processes clearly.

Valued Requirements Experience or knowledge in the integration of security solutions. Knowledge of hash algorithms and credential management. Experience with tools such as John the Ripper, Hashcat, or EPAS. Experience in large corporate environments.

Languages Sufficient English level to work in an international environment.
