Logistics Assistant

We are looking for a dynamic and organized Logistics Assistant (M/F) to join our team.

In this essential role, you will be the key point of contact for the daily management of logistics operations, ensuring an efficient flow of goods and smooth coordination between different departments.

You will actively participate in supply chain optimization, inventory management, and order preparation, while guaranteeing impeccable customer service. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate receiving, storage, and shipping activities using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
• Ensure accurate inventory updates via tools such as AS400 and other IT systems.
• Manage the purchasing process, including negotiating with suppliers and managing prices to optimize costs.
• Maintain rigorous stock organization, perform regular inventories, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the customer service department to ensure fast and accurate processing of requests related to orders and deliveries.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of logistics processes using IT tools such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Profile sought:

• Previous experience in logistics or administrative management in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) as well as general IT skills.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP, WMS, AS400, TMS, and CMMS systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills in English to collaborate with international partners.
• Customer service orientation and the ability to work in a team within a dynamic environment.
