accounts receivable clerk

We are seeking a creative, energetic individual to join our Finance team! This position is a key part of our Accounting Department and will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

• Conduct collection calls to resolve overdue accounts and collection issues
• Conduct credit investigations and make recommendations regarding credit approvals and credit increases
• Review and release on-hold orders
• Post customer payments and accurately apply them to accounts
• Maintenance of approximately 600 accounts as designated by A/R Manager
• Identify account discrepancies and resolve, adjust or investigate as needed
• Process promo orders as assigned
• Maintain and collect employee accounts
• Provide back-up and support for A/R Manager

*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required*

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years accounts receivable, credit and collections experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent planning, organization and decision-making skills
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when entering payment information.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX will be considered an asset
• *Bilingual proficiency is a strong asset*

Pay: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
