Your main missions:
Within the Product Improvements, Design and Specifications department, you will be in charge of:
- Designing and proposing a technical solution that fulfills the function desired by the customer, and guaranteeing reliability, optimizing costs, and facilitating production,
- 3D modeling the details of the technical solution under CREO,
- Creating the bill of materials for assemblies and engines in PDMLink following engineering indications,
- Creating 2D drawings for new or modified parts and configuring them in the engineering database,
- Proposing/Modifying assembly instructions for each set,
- Acting as the technical referent for the drawing process and the software used,
- Proposing ways to improve the group's efficiency,
- Supporting other design drafters, training them in new drawing practices (conducting drawing audits, exchanging with the global GD&T group, processes to follow...).
Daytime schedule: Time slot from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm + 45min lunch break Profile and Experience:
- From higher education in the field of design, mechanics, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a design office desired,
- Mastery of at least one Computer-Aided Design tool (ideally CREO PTC) and industrial drawing standards (ASME Y14.5),
- Communicator to support project dynamics and train peers,
- Creativity in the implementation of technical solutions,
- Knowledge of IT tools (PowerBI is a plus),
- Good understanding of English in writing and speaking for regular exchanges with colleagues from other units
