PARTNAIRE, Recruitment Agency, is searching for its client, a world leader specializing in the design and construction of aluminum vessels, a Buyer (M/F), in a permanent contract (CDI), in Les Sables-d'Olonne (85).
The site designs and builds custom, high-tech aluminum vessels for large-scale naval projects. Reporting to an industrial group with over 120 MEUR in turnover, you will manage international purchasing portfolios to meet production needs and guarantee cost, quality, and deadline objectives.
Your tasks
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage portfolios of international suppliers, service providers, and subcontractors. You will actively contribute to achieving quality, cost, deadline, and safety objectives.
- Processing Purchase Requests & Sourcing
- Analyze the needs of internal clients and support them in formalizing specifications.
- Issue technical recommendations and points of vigilance.
- Perform international sourcing of suppliers, service providers, and subcontractors (quality, price, reliability).
- Launch consultations and conduct commercial negotiations.
- Administrative and Contractual Follow-up
- Participate in drafting contracts in accordance with negotiations.
- Maintain up-to-date purchase prices in the ERP.
- Ensure partner follow-up and manage dispute resolution.
- Quality Follow-up
- Conduct supplier audits and manage approval processes.
- Define and monitor corrective action plans.
Requirements
Holding a Bac +3 to Bac +4 level degree with a specialization in Purchasing, you have a significant first experience in an industrial environment (ideally in shipbuilding). Your interest in the technical field allows you to quickly become comfortable with this type of purchasing.
- Proficiency in IT tools (ERP) and fluent English (a second language is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and negotiation abilities.
