Rehab Therapy Assistant

To assist therapist in the preparation of patients for treatment and implementation of selected aspects of treatment under the supervision of therapist. To provide coverage for Administrative Assistant or Porter if needed. Prepare patients for therapy. Maintain equipment and keep treatment area tidy. Assist therapists in various activities, e.g. walking of patient, splint making, etc. Supervise patient in carrying out repetitive exercises. Assist in transfers and activities of daily living of patients Provide coverage for Administrative Assistant / Porter, if needed Monitor equipment / supplies on loan or for sale Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the respective Supervisor. Requirements WSQ Therapy Asst cert or non-recognised Physio qualifications from overseas Working hours: Mon - Fri office hours + Alternate half Saturday
