Patient Care Associate

The Role Provide basic nursing care under the supervision and guidance of the nursing and multidisciplinary team to meet patient’s needs. Key accountabilities

1. Record baseline and routine blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration and report to the Registered Nurse (RN)
2. Assist with patient’s personal hygiene and activities of daily living as directed
3. Accurate recording of intake and output
4. Assist with ambulating of patient, bed to chair transfers and vice versa
5. Comply with infection control and health care associated infection practices
6. Comply with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
7. Answer call bell promptly and provide assistance to patient’s needs
8. Provide feedback to RN on patient’s status, requests and needs promptly
9. Collect specimens as assigned
10. Perform other duties as assigned
11. Report to work punctually
12. Report to work as per roster

Qualifications & Experience • Min pass in "N" Level • Health care Assistant Certificate preferred • Interpersonal & communication skills • Positive attitude • Team player Additional Information Prefer at least 2 years experience in Med-Surg ward/ ICU.
