Assistant Manager, Central Sterilisation Services (CSSD)

We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager, CSSD, to oversee the daily operations of the Central Sterilisation Services Department. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of sterilisation services, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, leading a team of staff, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day CSSD operations to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and technicians.
• Monitor departmental performance and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues and service gaps.
• Collaborate closely with clinical and support departments to meet operational needs.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, and cost optimisation efforts.
• Prepare management reports and maintain accurate departmental documentation.
• Participate in hospital and group-level projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant healthcare operations experience, preferably in CSSD, Operating Theatre, or healthcare support services.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Hours:

• Mon to Thu: 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
• Fri: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
