*Dental Administrative Coordinator-Kids Dental Practice*

We're looking for a *warm*, *confident* and *highly organized* *Dental Administrative Coordinator* to join our busy Kids dental practice team. Our front desk is the heart of our office. You'll be communicating with parents, children, dentists, hygienists, insurance companies, and the rest of our team throughout the day. We are looking for someone who is genuinely a people person, communicate clearly and professionally-both in person and over the phone and can confidently manage a busy schedule.

*Responsibilities:*

  • Greeting and assisting children and parents with a welcoming attitute
  • Answering phones and confidently handling parents questions and concerns
  • Booking, confirming, rescheduling and managing appointments
  • Explaining treatment plans, estimates, payments and insurance information
  • Processing payments and following up on outstanding balances
  • Coordinating referrals and communicating with other dental offices
  • Entering and maintaining accurate patient information
  • Working closely with our dentists and clinical team
  • Managing multiple tasks while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Helping to keep the front desk organized and running smoothly
  • Providing an exceptional patient experience from the moment a family walks through the door
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

*Qualifications:*

  • Naturally friendly, outgoing, and approachable
  • A confident and clear communicator
  • Comfortable speaking with parents and professional, even when dealing with frustrated or stressed parents
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Abeldent experience preferred
  • Detailed-oriented, reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
  • Enjoys interacting with people
  • Minimum of 2 years Dental Administration experience is preferred
  • Strong Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and treatment plans.
  • Strong appointment scheduling and time-management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolutions skills
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy
  • Ability to build long -term relationships with patients
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
  • Available evenings and weekends

Pay: $19.16-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32.0 per week
