Accounting & Controlling Specialist

Due to an upcoming major SAP transformation project, we are offering a fixed-term (“bubble”) assignment for an Accounting & Controlling Specialist. In this role, you will support our Accounting and Controlling team whilst the Accounting Manager is leading the SAP Finance workstream.

Duration: 12–15 months

Start Date: Immediately

This opportunity is also open to qualified graduates who have recently completed their university studies and are eager to start their career in Accounting, Controlling, Finance, or Business Administration. Ihre Aufgaben

Accounting Support

You will support the team across key accounting activities, including:

Statutory accounting tasks in accordance with US GAAP

Compliance with SOX requirements, Parker policies, and accounting procedures

Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset ledger activities

Financial processes across Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay

Local tax matters as the responsible contact for the site

Support for simplification, lean, and automation initiatives within accounting processes

Controlling, Reporting & Automation

You will drive simplification and automation within Controlling, particularly for month-end closing, reporting, and analysis requirements, including:

Engineering development cost controlling

Inventory Controlling

Order entry and backlog analysis

Daily income statement reporting

Daily cash flow statement reporting

Standard Cost Accounting

You will also support the implementation of standard cost accounting as part of the broader finance transformation activities.

Ihr Profil

Degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance, or a related field

Also open to recent graduates with strong motivation to learn

Solid understanding of accounting and controlling processes, or the willingness and ability to quickly develop this knowledge

Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methods

Very good knowledge of automation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps

Strong skills in working with, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets

Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
