Job Description Absence Specialist

As an absence specialist, you are responsible for guiding and coordinating absence files within the organization. You know how to properly apply laws and regulations regarding absence and translate this into practical and clear advice. Additionally, you are an important sparring partner for managers and support them with HR-related issues.

Your activities consist of, among other things:

• Guiding absence files and monitoring progress;
• Advising and guiding managers on absence cases and HR issues;
• Following up on all changes, contracts, sick notifications and various other daily activities;
• Analyzing HR data and insights to develop improvements within the organization;
• Thinking along about the internal organizational structure and optimizing the HR organization and processes;
