STYLING / FASHION INTERN

GQ Singapore is looking for an enthusiastic Styling Intern to join our fashion and editorial team. This internship offers hands-on experience in fashion styling, editorial and commercial shoots, where you’ll work closely with our stylists and editorial team while learning the processes behind producing fashion content for both digital and print platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist stylists on editorial and advertorial photoshoots, from preparation and fittings to on-set support.
• Assist with steaming and preparing clothing, accessories and other fashion items before and during shoots.
• Coordinate the collection and return of clothing, accessories and samples from brands, PR agencies and showrooms.
• Assist with shoot logistics, including arranging the collection, transportation and return of props, backdrops and other production materials where required.
• Help organise, track and maintain fashion samples to ensure all items are accounted for and returned promptly and in good condition.
• Assist with sourcing clothing, accessories, props and other items based on styling direction and shoot requirements.
• Support fittings, outfit preparation and look organisation ahead of shoots.
• Provide on-set styling assistance, including dressing talent, preparing looks and ensuring clothing and accessories are shoot-ready.
• Assist the fashion and editorial team with other day-to-day styling and production duties where required.
• Gain hands-on experience in the editorial process, from initial concepts and moodboards through to shoot preparation and execution.

Requirements:

• Passionate about men’s fashion, styling, culture and contemporary trends.
• Strong interest in fashion editorials and visual storytelling.
• Proactive, hands-on and willing to assist with both creative and logistical aspects of shoots.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep track of multiple samples, collections and returns.
• Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A team player who is eager to learn and able to work independently when required.
• Comfortable handling garments and assisting with physical shoot preparation, including steaming, packing and transporting fashion items.
• Familiarity with fashion brands, designers and current trends is a plus.
• Basic photo or video editing skills are a plus, but not required.
