Your tasks
With continued investment and expansion within Criminal Defence, these opportunities offer the chance to work across both legal aid and privately funded criminal matters, alongside experienced legal professionals.

Responsibilities include
- Managing criminal defence matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
- Representing clients at police stations and Magistrates' Courts.
- Attending Crown Court proceedings as required.
- Providing clear, professional advice and representation.
- Handling both legally aided and privately funded cases.
- Maintaining excellent standards of client care and case management.
Requirements
We'd particularly like to hear from candidates who have:
- Qualified Solicitor status in England and Wales.
- Experience within Criminal Defence.
- Strong advocacy and client representation skills.
- The ability to manage cases independently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A professional, client-focused approach.
Duty Solicitor accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
