Senior Workplace Designer

Paperspace is seeking a Senior Workplace Designer to lead commercial workplace projects from concept through completion. You will set the design direction, work directly with clients, guide designers and collaborate with our technical, project delivery and regional teams. Key responsibilities Lead multiple workplace design projects from client briefing and concept development through design development, tender and site completion.

Build client relationships, lead design discussions, present proposals and manage stakeholder feedback.

Develop and review space plans, design concepts, presentations, material palettes, FF&E selections and scheme boards.

Guide designers and coordinate with technical teams, project managers, consultants, suppliers and contractors.

Maintain design quality while working within project budgets, programmes and technical requirements.

Attend site meetings, resolve design issues and ensure the completed space reflects the approved design.

Lead the design contribution to pitches and proposals.

Mentor team members and support collaboration across Paperspace’s regional teams.

Requirements At least 8 years of relevant interior design experience , including substantial experience leading commercial workplace projects from concept through completion.

Proven ability to manage client relationships, lead design presentations and guide design teams.

A portfolio showing completed workplace projects, strong design thinking and your specific contribution to each.

Strong skills in space planning, concept development, materials and FF&E selection.

Sound understanding of design development, tender documentation and site implementation.

Ability to manage multiple projects, make sound design decisions and deliver accurate work within agreed timelines.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.
