*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where teamwork and food safety are paramount. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn the food industry.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and cooking procedures meet food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or during dine-in service
- Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
*Qualifications*
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
- A positive team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic
Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
