Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain network devices, including Cisco routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and security appliances.
- Configure and administer Fortinet Firewall and other network security solutions.
- Manage network security technologies, including:
- Firewall policies
- IPS/IDS
- VPN solutions
- Network Access Control (NAC)
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Proxy solutions
- Monitor network availability, performance, and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for network incidents.
Configure and manage network technologies, including:
- Routing & Switching
- VLAN
- TCP/IP
- Wireless Networking
- Enterprise Connectivity
- Support network security implementation and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with System Administrators, Security, Application, and other IT teams to ensure seamless infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Cisco networking devices
- Fortinet Firewall
- Routing & Switching
- TCP/IP Networking
- VLAN and Network Segmentation
- VPN Technologies
- Wireless Networking
- Experience with network security technologies, including:
- Firewall Management
- IPS/IDS
- NAC
- Cisco ISE
- Proxy Solutions
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex network issues.
- Able to create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Certifications
Candidates with relevant certifications will be an advantage, including:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP)
- CompTIA Network+
