Senior ERP Consultant

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the Vietnam market, the boundaries among ERP Consultant, Technical Sales, and Senior BA are not always clearly separated; therefore, this role is designed to cover business requirements analysis, solution consulting, and customer-facing pre-sales activities.

• Act as the technical and domain authority in customer meetings; support the sales team to qualify and shape opportunities.
• Run discovery workshops with customer finance, accounting, warehouse and supply chain stakeholders; capture AS-IS processes and propose TO-BE processes.
• Perform fit-gap analysis against the proposed ERP platform and recommend standard-first solutions, justifying customization only where the business case holds.
• Prepare and deliver solution demonstrations, proof of concept and technical presentations to customer management.
• Prepare solution architecture, effort estimation, proposal, quotation and RFP / SOW responses together with sales and delivery teams.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and hand over to the delivery team with clear scope, assumptions and acceptance criteria.
• Advise customers on Vietnamese statutory requirements affecting ERP design
• Support contract negotiation from the technical side; define assumptions and exclusions that protect delivery feasibility.
• Build and maintain reusable pre-sales assets: demo environments, industry templates, estimation models and reference materials.
• Track ERP market and product roadmap trends and share knowledge with project members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Nationality: Vietnamese
• Qualification: University or higher
• Years of Experience: More than 5 years, including experience in ERP consulting, business analysis or pre-sales

Preferred Language: English / Japanese (Japanese Speaking is a great advantage)

Compulsory Skills & Knowledge (Must have)

• University degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related majors.
• At least 3-year experience as ERP functional consultant, business analyst, solution consultant or pre-sales consultant.
• Deep functional knowledge of Finance & Accounting (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, cost accounting, consolidation, period close) or Logistics & Supply Chain (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, warehouse, planning, distribution).
• Hands-on configuration and demonstration experience on at least one ERP platform: SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo or Infor.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, solution design and effort estimation.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), IFRS, GAAP
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to present at CFO and Head of Supply Chain level.
• Strong sense of quality and client orientation.
• Negotiation and consultative selling skill.

Preferred Skills &Knowledge (Nice to have)

• Experience working at Japanese company or directly with Japanese clients is a great advantage.
• On-site working experience in Japan is a plus.
• CFA, FRM, Professional Investor Certificate or other related certifications
• Experience working with funds, raising funds
• Experience in finance/ logistics sectors
• Industry experience in manufacturing (discrete or process), 3PL, FMCG distribution or retail
• Knowledge of integration technologies (REST API, middleware / iPaaS, EDI) and BI tools such as Power BI.
• Certification in SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite, or an accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA), is preferred.
• Able to work under tight schedule.
