Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Manager (ERP) shall be a part of our professional and dynamic team at Panasonic R&D Center Vietnam, leading ERP implementation and modernization projects for clients in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics.

The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Communicate with customers for requirement analysis, project plan and project progress.
• Own project scope, schedule, effort, cost and risk for ERP implementation projects covering Finance / Accounting and Logistics / Supply Chain modules.
• Lead the full implementation lifecycle: fit-gap analysis, configuration, data migration, integration, SIT/UAT, training, cutover and post go-live support.
• Provide software proposal and estimation based on project requirement.
• Review all project documentation (BRD, FSD, test plan, data migration plan, cutover plan).
• Assign tasks to resources efficiently and lead a mixed team of functional consultants, BAs, developers, and testers.
• Control change requests and prevent scope creep; manage commercial and contractual impact with the customer.
• Report on project progress, issues, risks, technical solutions, etc. to the Department Head.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors, product partners, and customer-side IT teams.
• Support project members on technologies and provide solution decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Nationality: Vietnamese
• Qualification: University or higher
• Years of experience: More than 5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years as BA or Developer in the corresponding business domain
• Preferred language: English; Japanese language skill is a plus, especially experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese clients

Compulsory Skills &Knowledge (Must have)

• University degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or related majors.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Developer in the corresponding business domain such as Finance, Accounting, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Practical experience with at least one ERP platform: SAP S/4HANA or ECC, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo or Infor.
• Functional understanding of Finance & Accounting processes (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, cost accounting, period close) and/or Logistics processes (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, warehouse, distribution).
• Experience in project planning, project tracking, requirement management, risk management, quality control and communication management.
• Strong experience in development processes & manage KPI by CMMI, Agile...
• Strong sense of quality and client orientation.
• Leadership and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge (Nice to have)

• Japanese language skills and/or experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese clients is a plus.
• On-site working experience in Japan is a plus.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), IFRS, GAAP
• CFA or FRM, or Professional Investor Certificate
• Banking or Finance work experience
• Experience in data migration from local accounting products (MISA, Fast, Bravo) to a global ERP platform.
• Experience integrating ERP with MES, WMS, CRM or licensed e-invoice providers.
• Having PMP, PRINCE2 or platform certification (SAP, Microsoft, NetSuite) is preferred.
• Able to work under tight schedule
