Junior Hardware Developer (m/f/d) (Application Programmer)

Your tasks:

• Our challenge for you includes the conception and development of High-Speed hardware designs for optical transmission technology
• Furthermore, you evaluate and select components as well as system components and develop innovative hardware and system assemblies
• You take over the calculation and verification of digital and analog circuits – including network processors, high-speed designs, and power supply concepts
• You create schematic layouts to make our technical visions a reality
• And last, but not least, you are responsible for the commissioning and release of prototypes up to series maturity - this also includes EMC approval, device safety, and test specifications

Your profile:

• You have a completed Master's degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in analog and digital circuit design, ideally with Altium Designer
• You are confident in using measurement techniques such as oscilloscope, multimeter, and data logger, as well as bus systems such as I2C, SPI, and Ethernet
• Experience in high-speed signal handling, especially in the area of differential design, is an advantage
• Knowledge of EMC approval processes (e.g., CE approval) and device safety testing would be desirable
• A doctorate in a relevant field followed by postdoc activity would be a big plus
• Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
