Come build your future with Jacobina Mineração!Responsibilities and assignmentsDevelop technical criteria for stope filling, considering geotechnical, operational, and production requirements.Define the required strength (UCS) of the paste fill according to geomechanical stability criteria.Prepare, validate, and optimize recipes (mix design) considering solids content, cement consumption, additives, characteristics of the tailings used, and the required final strength.Evaluate and validate barricade designs and containment structures.Define and monitor the stope filling sequence aligned with the mine plan.Prepare weekly and monthly filling plans, integrating Mine Planning, Production, Paste Fill Plant, and Geotechnics.Ensure that the mining cycle is not impacted by the unavailability of the paste fill system.Monitor plant performance, flow rate, line pressure, cement consumption, material losses, pipeline blockages, and system availability.Provide technical support for solving operational problems and investigating failures.Implement and monitor QA/QC programs through sampling, laboratory testing, and technological control.Monitor quality indicators such as UCS, slump/flow, density, solids content, curing time, and campaign traceability.Work together with Geotechnics to ensure stope stability, exposure control, dilution control, and stress assessment.Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing cement consumption, increasing productivity, improving system reliability, and reducing costs.Comply with the determinations established in the Company's norms and procedures.Comply with safety, health, and environmental protection standards and patterns when performing activities.Prepare technical reports, performance indicators, and technical presentations.Requirements and qualificationsRequired degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields;Desirable Postgraduate degree in Geotechnics, Fluid Mechanics, Concrete Technology, Paste Backfill, or Geomechanics;Required extensive experience in underground mining and direct involvement in Paste Fill or Cemented Paste Backfill (CPB);Required intermediate English;Desirable intermediate Spanish;Desirable software: Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine, Surpac, Leapfrog, FLAC3D, Rocscience (RS2 and RS3), Advanced Excel, and Power BI;Knowledge in:-Cemented Paste Backfill (CPB).- Additive optimization.- Mixture dosing.- Rheology applied to paste fill.- Paste structuring.- Paste fill plant operation.- Stope stability.- Barricade design.- Geotechnical modeling.- Short-term planning.- Mine-Paste integration.Additional informationHealth PlanDental PlanFood VoucherSchool Material Allowance: Transportation AllowanceDaycare Allowance for Atypical Parents up to 08 YearsOldVariable Remuneration ProgramChristmas Basket
