For our client, an internationally active energy group, we are looking for you as a Commissioning Engineer (gn) HVDC and Network

What your daily work looks like

• Technically flawless, on-time, and economical execution of the commissioning of HVDC systems on-site (worldwide), especially data networks and individual components of network communication
• Commissioning, support, and monitoring of the predominantly TCP/IP-based network infrastructure, the HMI concept, as well as their purpose-oriented adaptation
• Responsible for time synchronization as well as the local and remote signal converter, acting as the interface to all other involved signal suppliers
• Supporting other commissioning components as well as customers and external partners in troubleshooting and testing communication interfaces
• Participation in improvement programs (including Lean, reviews, and lessons learned)
• Supporting the IBS management in quality, risk, and claim management

What distinguishes you for the job

• Completed training or studies in the field of electrical or information technology or comparable qualification with knowledge in network administration (switches, routers, etc.), HMI basics, and PC administration (hardware and virtualization)
• Basic knowledge in network security and monitoring, of network protocols (including TCP/IP, RADIUS) as well as knowledge in handling circuit diagrams and electrical systems
• Good English skills, German skills desirable
• Assignments on construction sites, as well as optional assignments on offshore platforms
• Class B driver's license
