HR Generalist

Palaplast is one of the most dynamic industries for the production of plastic pipes and fittings. Today, Palaplast produces irrigation pipes and fittings and has expanded into the sectors of water supply, heating, and fiber optic cable protection. Its product range exceeds 4,500 codes and its production capacity is 30,000 tons per year. In the new production unit in Thiva, pressure pipes, building drainage, and sewer pipes are produced, constantly expanding its product range to meet increasing market demands. Its continuous technological development, the finding of production methods that contribute to cost reduction, and the assurance of quality have positioned Palaplast as a leader in the Greek market, with a constant presence in more than 70 countries worldwide, including being among the pioneers of its industry.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the staffing process from the publication of advertisements and the evaluation of CVs to the coordination and conducting of interviews
• Support for recruitment, termination, and changes in employment data processes
• Development of partnerships with educational institutions for internship programs and participation in Career Days
• Monitoring of schedules, attendance, and leaves
• Management of daily matters concerning the Ψηφιακή Κάρτα Εργασίας and the ΠΣ ΕΡΓΑΝΗ.
• Maintenance and updating of employee files and data
• Support in the daily operations and processes of the department

Required Qualifications:

• University/TEI Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in a Human Resources department with practical experience in staffing processes
• Familiarity with the ΠΣ ΕΡΓΑΝΗ and the Ψηφιακή Κάρτα Εργασίας
• Knowledge of labor legislation
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Good knowledge of Ms Office
• Desirable knowledge of the Pylon Epsilonnet program
• Discretion, organizational skills, and communication skills
