General Objective:

Prevent accidents in the sea, beach, and pool areas by acting in a timely manner to perform rescues.

Functions:

• Adequately performs the beach opening, transporting the necessary equipment for rescues as well as the first aid kit to the lifeguard tower in order to guarantee accident prevention and proper rescues.
• Ensures prevention on the beach, performing general inspections of designated areas, alerting swimmers with whistle codes in order to control and prevent accidents in the sea.
• Supervises that the facilities, regulations, and flags are in good condition, reporting any damage to the Security Department Supervision.
• Adequately maintains the established presentation standards, wearing the uniform and rescue equipment correctly in order to guarantee quality service.
• Executes, if necessary, rescues and salvages in a timely and proper manner based on already established procedures, applying specific techniques with the necessary equipment and taking the necessary precautions in order to avoid major accidents.

• Minimum education: Upper secondary education
• General High School
• 1 year of experience
• Languages: English
• Age: between 20 and 35 years old
