Job Purpose:

Coordinate and supervise the execution of infrastructure and civil works within a highly complex hotel project, ensuring the correct integration of the different engineering and construction disciplines, as well as compliance with established standards regarding quality, scope, schedule, costs, and technical specifications. The position will have a key role in the coordination of contractors, supervision of work fronts, and monitoring of major construction milestones, in close collaboration with the different areas involved in the project.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the execution of infrastructure and civil works, supervising contractors, subcontractors, and multiple work fronts.
• Follow up on the construction schedule, physical progress, and milestones, identifying deviations and risks opportunely.
• Coordinate the integration between structure, architecture, MEP installations, infrastructure, landscaping, and finishes.
• Supervise the execution of structure, concrete, masonry, civil works, and finishes, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Follow up on supplies, estimates, generators, and costs, as well as changes and impacts on scope and schedule.
• Prepare management reports and participate in technical and construction coordination meetings with the different disciplines and contractors.

Required Profile:

• Education: Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related degree.
• Experience: In infrastructure, civil works, and large-scale projects. Coordination of contractors, subcontractors, and multiple fronts. Experience in coordination between different engineering disciplines. Desirable experience in hospitality, resorts, tourist developments, hospitals, or highly complex projects. Desirable experience in projects with high quality standards and luxury finishes.

Technical Knowledge:

• Interpretation of plans and construction processes.
• Construction scheduling and monitoring.
• Concrete, structure, masonry, and civil works.
• Monitoring of supplies and materials.
• AutoCAD, MS Project, and intermediate/advanced Excel.
• Desirable BIM / Navisworks.

Competencies:

• Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Technical thinking and results orientation.
• Management of multiple fronts and priorities simultaneously.
• Effective communication with contractors, engineering, and project teams.
• Ability to identify risks, resolve interferences, and make timely decisions.
