Bar Captain

Education: High School (Certificate)

Objective: To ensure that guest needs are met, guaranteeing the control of consumption centers, as well as compliance with service standards, covering the needs and development of the staff.

Functions:

• Ensure the supply of inputs, groceries, and supplies necessary for the operation of the Hotel bars, as well as the proper control of product stocks, taking care of their rotation.
• Perform the opening and closing checklists for each consumption center under their charge.
• Supervise the order and cleanliness of the warehouses and bar areas, as well as the correct setup and service of the events under their charge, ensuring the availability of glassware, staff distribution, and operating equipment.
• Organize the staff under their charge, assigning shift roles and specific tasks, in order to guarantee service in the Consumption Centers, Events, and Banquets.
• Perform inventories of production, LCP, and operating equipment established in the company calendar, maintaining correct control of them.
• Assist the bar operational assistant in the operational functions of the department.
• Ensure assertive communication with the areas and leaders related to bar operations.
• Execute the departmental development program, ensuring assertive feedback to collaborators.
• Perform daily briefings and walkthroughs in the areas.
• Perform a daily Taste Panel of the consumption center menu.

Minimum education: Upper secondary education - Technological Baccalaureate 1 year of experience Languages: English Age: between 26 and 45 years Knowledge: Team management, Decision making, Cleaning, Organization, Personnel supervision
