Delicatessen Boutique Manager (M/F)

Founded in 1796, Maison Mulot et Petitjean has been manufacturing authentic Dijon gingerbread for 229 years, respecting a tradition and know-how passed down from generation to generation. Mulot et Petitjean is a family business with a strong desire for development and innovation (7 Million turnover in 2021; 48 employees). Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will be the ambassador of our house and our iconic Dijon products. You will supervise part of the sales team in collaboration with the other boutique managers (1 to 2 people).

In this capacity, you will be required to perform the following tasks:

• Commercial Animation

o Welcome and advise customers appropriately o Manage customer returns o Promote our products and local gastronomy o Guarantee compliance with sales techniques o Ensure the proper upkeep of the store (tidiness, presentation, cleanliness, restocking, window displays) o Develop and coordinate commercial operations o Receive groups in connection with our tourism activity and respond to press inquiries.

• Management and Supervision

o Manage and supervise the team, including daily issues o Participate in the integration of new employees

• Administrative Management, Daily Operations, and Reporting

o Organize inventories, control stock levels o Place orders for the boutique based on sales and stock o Product cutting and repackaging o Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene rules o Monitor product quality compliance (FIFO, conformity, DLUO, etc.) o Manage the cash register (cash movements, bank deposits)

Remuneration: according to profile Job location: Dijon - occasional travel to Beaune to be expected

Profile Beyond mastering various sales techniques, you possess excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to organize yourself. You have one or more management experiences in retail. You are a dynamic, rigorous person who knows how to demonstrate adaptability. You are looking for a new challenge in your career. You have an interest in gastronomic heritage. You have a professional level of English. You are comfortable with IT and office tools (Pack Office).
