Responsibilities and duties Depending on the seniority and the challenge of the position, you may:

  • Develop and evolve applications and services using Java.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain microservices-based solutions.
  • Act in the evolution of the architecture and the continuous improvement of applications.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between systems.
  • Implement automated tests and contribute to code quality.
  • Act in the identification and resolution of problems in production environments.
  • Monitor application health through monitoring and observability tools.
  • Develop solutions that contribute to the automation, availability, security, and reliability of the platforms.
  • Research and implement technologies that contribute to the evolution of solutions and development processes.

Requirements and qualifications We are looking for different levels of experience. Therefore, the expected level of mastery in the knowledge below will be considered according to the seniority of the opportunity:

  • Completed higher education in Information Technology or related areas.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with software development using Java.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Git.
  • Knowledge of unit and automated tests.
  • Knowledge of Linux.
  • Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Technical English.

To stand out in this position, it would be great if you also had:

  • Knowledge and/or experience with AWS.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Experience with TDD and BDD.
  • Knowledge of concurrent programming.
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as New Relic.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL.
  • Experience with Node.js.
  • Experience with Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.

  • Certification in Java.

Additional information Work model:

  • For professionals residing in São Paulo (SP) or within a radius of up to 90 km from the city, the work model is hybrid, with in-person work 1 time per week at our office in the Faria Lima region, in São Paulo (SP).
  • For professionals residing more than 90 km from São Paulo (SP), the work model is Full Home Office.
