R&D Engineer (M/F)

Do you want to build the future of shared mobility? As an R&D Engineer, reporting to Alva and working in partnership with Marie and Louis, you will evolve Padam Mobility's algorithms. Every month, these operate on a larger number of territories, larger vehicle fleets, and support more varied use cases of daily mobility. The R&D team works constantly to find new solutions to manage this growth and increase the technology's performance. The goal is simple: to offer ever more efficiency, fluidity, and quality to our customers.

Your missions:

Analysis and study of research topics specific to VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem)

• You participate in the improvement of the various algorithms already used by our customers,
• You develop new algorithms and processes,

• You analyze the data collected from our services,
• You adapt algorithm parameters based on the data collected from customers.

Feasibility study of prototypes created through simulations

• You build test scenarios,
• You challenge input data, output data, and analysis tools.

Participation in code quality and optimization within technical teams

• You participate in exchanges with other technical stacks as well as discussions regarding production code quality.
• You are aware that algorithmics is also about technique and performance (Cython, C++...)

Participation in product improvement reflections

• You participate in technical specifications within the R&D team as well as technical exchanges with the Transport Consulting, Solution Partner, and Product Value teams.

• You have a successful first experience in Python development in a laboratory or industry setting on operational research, optimization, R&D issues...

• You defend your point of view with arguments and take responsibility for your choices, your decisions, and your mistakes,
• You speak highly professional English (yes ail dou).

It is a big plus if:

• You are interested in subjects such as new forms of mobility, land use planning, urban planning...
• You like to "get your hands dirty" and understand problems in depth,

• In the manner of the little chef Rémy, you do not hesitate to experiment... even if it means making mistakes!
