HSE Section Head

Lead and supervise HSE team and ensure effective implementation of HSE management system.

Develop ,implement and monitor HSE Policies ,procedure and objective.

Ensure compliance with applicable local legislation and international standards.

conduct risk assessments , job safety analyses, inspections, and audits to identify and control workplace hazards.

Monitor HSE performance and establish KPIs, targets, and improvement plans.

Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Coordinate emergency preparedness, response plans, drills, and crisis-management activities.

Ensure effective implementation of permit-to-work, LOTO, confined-space, working-at-height, lifting, excavation, and other critical safety controls.

Develop and deliver HSE training, inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.

Conduct regular workplace inspections and ensure timely closure of identified HSE observations and corrective actions.

Monitor environmental aspects, including waste management, emissions, chemical handling, pollution prevention, and environmental compliance.

Liaise with management, employees, contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.

Evaluate contractor HSE performance and ensure contractors comply with organizational HSE requirements.

Prepare and submit HSE reports, statistics, dashboards, and management reviews.

Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, behavioral safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support management in setting HSE strategies and achieving organizational objectives.

Ensure adequate HSE resources, equipment, PPE, and competent personnel are available.

Lead internal and external HSE audits and follow up on findings until closure.

Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation, standards, and industry best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety & Environment, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership HSE position.

Strong knowledge of Egyptian Occupational Safety & Health laws, regulations, and ministerial decisions.

Good knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.

Professional knowledge of Risk Assessment, , JSA, PTW,Emergency Response, Fire Safety, and Incident Investigation.

Experience in developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, programs, and action plans.

Experience conducting internal HSE inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.

Strong knowledge of fire protection and prevention systems, emergency preparedness, and evacuation procedures.

Experience managing and developing an HSE team and conducting safety training and awareness programs.

Ability to deal effectively with government authorities, contractors, consultants, and external auditors.
