We are looking for a technical employee - mechanic (*person) to start immediately at our location in Emsbüren.

When it comes to the production of corrugated cardboard and corrugated cardboard packaging, Packners is one of the most modern production sites in Europe. For everything our customers want to pack, ship, and sell, we develop and produce the appropriate "smart box". With highly automated high-tech machines, we produce tens of thousands of cartons and boxes here every hour.

Currently, around 120 sympathetic people work with us in Emsbüren. And so that we can continue our growth course, we have several jobs to fill in production, technology, logistics, and administration.

In short: The smart box needs you. Provided that one can rely on you completely or at least process corrugated cardboard...

Your tasks

• Maintenance and repair of all production facilities, logistics systems, and building installations
• Analysis and troubleshooting of problematic or error-prone processes
• Direct contact with machine manufacturers and suppliers regarding troubleshooting and analysis as well as spare parts procurement
• Participation in improvements and optimizations of production processes
• Support for manufacturers and suppliers during maintenance, new installations, and expansions

What you bring with you

• Vocational training with a focus on mechanics
• Willingness and ability to perform mechanical work
• Confident handling of PC, SPS, and drive systems of modern automation technology (Siemens, B&R, SEW, NORD, Festo, etc.)
• Know-how regarding the use and evaluation of analysis tools software
• Willingness to work in shifts (3-shift system) and to work during production downtime
• English skills
• Fitness for working at heights
• Initiative as well as independent working
