PACCAR Global Engines is the center of expertise for engine and aftertreatment developments within PACCAR. In our advanced development and testing facilities, we develop innovative diesel engine technologies that meet future emission regulations while delivering top performance and reliability. Within the Certification Development team, you will focus on validating engine emissions and aftertreatment performance through a wide range of certification and compliance tests. You will work closely with Calibration Engineers, OBD Specialists, Aftertreatment Experts, and Test Engineers to ensure that engines meet regulatory requirements worldwide.
What we expect from you
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with heavy diesel engines, emission testing, or engine development.
- Knowledge of engine calibration, combustion processes, and emission control strategies.
- Understanding of aftertreatment systems such as SCR, DPF, and DOC technologies.
- Experience with emission measurements, certification testing, or OBD validation is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and affinity for interpreting complex test data.
- A structured and accurate working style.
- A proactive attitude with a drive to improve testing methods and processes.
- Excellent English communication skills.
