Adult Learning Disabilities Location: Preston & surrounding area Pay: £17.17 per hour Hours: Full-time, shift-based Driver: Essential Setting: Residential Adult Learning Disabilities Make your next career move with an award-winning care provider P4 Recruitment are currently working with an award-winning care provider who are looking for an experienced and motivated Care Supervisor to join their residential service in the Preston area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has strong experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and is ready to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the service , supporting the staff team and helping to ensure residents receive consistently high-quality, person-centred care. About the role As Care Supervisor, you will: Work closely with the Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the service Support and supervise a team of care staff Lead by example and provide hands-on support to residents Support adults with learning disabilities and complex support needs Help maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance Assist with staff supervision, development and day-to-day guidance Support the Manager with the smooth running of the service Promote independence, dignity and choice for the people you support Respond appropriately to any concerns or incidents Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals What we're looking for We're keen to speak with people who have: Previous experience working within adult learning disability residential care Experience in a Senior Support Worker, Care Supervisor, Team Leader or similar role Strong knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding The confidence to support and guide a team A genuine passion for improving the lives of the people you support Good communication and organisational skills A flexible approach to working shifts, including some weekends A full UK driving licence – essential What’s on offer? £17.17 per hour plus £500 bonus Opportunity to progress your career within an established, award-winning provider A varied role with genuine responsibility Close support from an experienced Registered Manager The opportunity to develop your leadership and management experience A rewarding role where you can make a real difference If you're an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader who is ready to take that next step into a Care Supervisor position, we'd love to hear from you.
