Salary: £12.71 – £12.84 per hour + £67 per sleep-in Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Permanent Working Pattern: Alternate weekends + sleep-in rota Overtime: Available

About the Role

P4 Recruitment are currently working with a specialist care provider who are looking for Adult Support Workers to join their community-based team on a permanent basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with mild learning disabilities and additional support needs , helping them to live as independently as possible and get the most out of everyday life.

The role is varied and person-centred. You will support individuals with accessing the community, attending activities and appointments, getting out and about and managing day-to-day tasks , while encouraging independence, confidence and choice.

You will be working alongside individuals rather than simply providing care, helping them to take part in the things that are important to them and supporting them to lead fulfilling lives.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Adult Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting adults with mild learning disabilities and support needs.
• Helping individuals access the local community and take part in activities.
• Supporting with appointments, shopping and everyday tasks.
• Encouraging independence and promoting individual choice.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with the people you support.
• Providing appropriate practical and emotional support.
• Following individual support plans and risk assessments.
• Supporting individuals to develop confidence and life skills.
• Working effectively as part of a wider care and support team.
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and other professionals.

About You

We're interested in hearing from people who are caring, reliable and genuinely passionate about supporting others .

Previous experience within social care is beneficial, but experience isn't essential for the entry-level rate . Full training and support will be provided.

You may have experience as a:

• Support Worker
• Care Assistant
• Healthcare Assistant
• Residential Support Worker
• Community Support Worker
• Learning Disability Support Worker

Or you may simply have the right values and be looking to start or develop a career in social care.

Qualifications & Pay

£12.71 per hour For candidates entering the sector with no previous experience.

£12.84 per hour For candidates who hold a minimum Level 2 Social Care qualification and have relevant experience.

£67 per sleep-in
