The Position - Technical Buyer M/F Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will take charge of a portion of mechanical subcontracting purchases. Your role is at the crossroads of the design office, methods, production, and suppliers: you are the guarantor of the technical and economic consistency of the parts and services purchased. Your Missions

• Analyze technical documents: reading blueprints, specifications, contractual requirements.
• Manage consultations: calls for tender, comparative analyses, technical and economic summaries.
• Select suppliers: machining, mechanos welding, treatments, metallic materials.
• Negotiate purchasing conditions: price, lead times, contractual conditions.
• Draft and track orders in the ERP.
• Develop and qualify the supplier panel: audits, performance, quality, lead times, disputes.
• Provide technical support to development or resourcing projects.

Your Profile This position is intended for candidates who were first technicians in:

• design office,
• methods,
• industrialization,
• general or specialized mechanics.

And who then evolved towards technical purchasing or industrial procurement.

Expected Skills

• Technical training in mechanical design (Bac to Bac+2).
• Significant experience in industrial purchasing or procurement.
• Mastery of reading blueprints and machining/mechanos welding processes.
• Knowledge of metallic raw materials.
• Professional English; German is a plus.
• Rigor, autonomy, analytical skills, fluid communication with technical experts.
