Senior HR Advisor, International Law Firm, Guernsey, Agile

Established in 2008, Oyster Search & Selection specialise in recruiting HR professionals on behalf of a range of clients in Legal, Professional and Financial Services nationwide and internationally. We recruit in to roles for both HR Generalists and HR Specialists on a permanent and interim basis.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor on behalf of our international law firm client on the island of Guernsey. Reporting to a Senior HRBP and supported by an HR Administrator you will provide a mix of HR Advisory and HR Operational support across the Employee Lifecycle to c160 employees (Partners, Managers, Lawyers and Business Services). Responsibilities include:

• Providing high quality HR advice and guidance to managers and partners on Employee Relations matters, eg. flexible working requests, sickness absence, wellbeing and grievance and disciplinary cases.
• Supporting on significant annual HR processes such as the salary and bonus review and performance appraisals.
• The recruitment, onboarding and induction of new joiners, coordinating internal and external secondments, training and leavers, including exit interviews.
• Supporting the Senior HRBP with HR projects, for example, in Talent Management and Organisational Culture.

Candidates will ideally have HR experience in Legal, Professional or Financial Services and be at least part-CIPD qualified. It's likely that you will be a UK passport holder with the right to work in Guernsey and our client will provide relocation assistance where appropriate.
