System Administrator (Mid-Senior)

What’s in store for you: You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers:

• 6PB+ Ceph storage
• 60PB+ monthly data traffic through our systems
• 300k+ service requests/sec processed
• 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

In this role, you’ll: Work on private cloud and remotely hosted infrastructure configuration, automation, and testing;

Take care of scaling our infrastructure;

Ensure that infrastructure systems are monitored, audited, and alerting configured;

Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and up-to-date with the latest patches and protocols;

Troubleshoot infrastructure related issues and outages;

Stay current with the latest infrastructure developments, and tooling available.

Tech Stack: Linux;

SQL;

ClickHouse;

Kafka;

Docker;

Elastic/Grafana;

Ansible.

Your skills & experience: Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and servers;

Hands-on experience with automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack);

Proficiency in working with container systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker);

Familiarity with databases, especially MySQL and Redis-like key-value databases;

Strong ability to prioritize and focus on high-impact work.

Nice to have: Basic experience with Python, Bash, Go, or other languages for custom automation scripting;

Experience with Kafka/Redpanda;

Experience with RabbitMQ;

Experience with HAProxy.

Salary & Benefits: Gross salary: from 3000 EUR/month to 6300 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
