At a glance:

As an HR Generalist, you are the contact person for employees in a defined support area regarding payroll-relevant issues, as well as providing administrative support within the framework of the Employee Lifecycle in close cooperation with the HR Partner and taking into account operational, collective agreement, and legal requirements.

You act as an interface to the external payroll provider, supporting the execution of all required monthly and annual statutory payments through preparatory assistance in the creation of payroll (document verification, communication with payroll service providers, etc.), to ensure that our employees are paid correctly.

The following tasks await you:

• First-level support for an assigned group of employees in the EU regarding questions about the employment relationship and payroll
• Close cooperation with the Payroll Provider, support within the framework of monthly payroll, e.g., processing of one-off payments, creation of documents, and monitoring implementation in the SAP payroll system
• Cooperation and support of the HR Business Partners
• Support in the maintenance of the electronic time management system
• Creation of employment references and processing of all administrative work arising in the HR Lifecycle
• Cooperation with the Works Council
• Implementation of the BEM process
• Identification and implementation of process improvements within the area of responsibility
• Project work

The following qualities qualify you for this task:

• You have completed commercial training with additional qualification as Personalfachkaufmann or comparable – alternatively, you have completed a degree, ideally with a focus on Human Resources
• Several years of experience in operational HR work and sound knowledge of labor law, social security law, and BetrVG
• Knowledge of the collective agreement of the chemical industry is an advantage
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• A high degree of communication and analytical skills, including good expression in speaking and writing
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Enjoyment of teamwork and interdisciplinary cooperation
