TAP Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated and manual test cases for enterprise applications using the TAP testing platform .
• Analyse business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using TAP and relevant automation frameworks.
• Identify, analyse and document defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Perform test result analysis, defect tracking and test closure activities.
• Support test environment preparation, test data management and release validation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and other testing teams.
• Maintain test documentation, execution reports and testing status reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation coverage.

Skills & Requirements

• Relevant experience in software testing and test automation .
• Hands-on experience with TAP testing platform/tools .
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration and system testing .
• Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts .
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and defect management processes .
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar test/Agile tools .
• Knowledge of API testing, SQL/database testing and web application testing is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
