Resistance Welder

We are seeking an experienced Resistance Welder to join our client’s manufacturing team, supporting the production of complex, high-value components and assemblies within an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in carrying out resistance welding activities to exacting standards, working with specialist materials and ensuring all products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications and applicable quality standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical experience in resistance welding, including processes such as spot welding, seam welding and other special processes .

Resistance Welder Job Description

• Carry out resistance welding of complex components and assemblies, including spot welding, seam welding and other specialist processes
• Work to welding specifications, weld data cards, drawings and process instructions
• Work with materials including Stainless Steel, Titanium, Jethete and Nimonic
• Use appropriate tooling, jigs and equipment to complete welding operations accurately
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet the required quality standards
• Complete welding records, welder logs and other relevant production documentation
• Work in accordance with customer requirements, engineering specifications and applicable aerospace quality standards

Resistance Welder Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experience in resistance welding within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation and welding requirements
