Are you an experienced Panel Wirer looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience wiring control panels, machinery, and electrical components? If so, this could be the ideal role for you. Our client, a specialist engineering and manufacturing company, is looking for a skilled Panel Wirer to join their team in Leicestershire. The successful candidate will have previous panel wiring or electrical assembly experience, with the ability to work on prototype and bespoke machinery.

Permanent position Salary: £33,000 – £37,000 (DOE) Monday to Friday Leicestershire

Panel Wirer Job Description

• Wire control panels, machines, back plates, and pendants
• Assemble and install electrical components within machinery
• Read and follow electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Work closely with the production team to ensure machines are built to a high standard
• Carry out electrical assembly and wiring to meet project requirements
• Support the wider engineering and production team where required
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail throughout the build process

Panel Wirer Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Previous experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly
• Experience working on prototype or bespoke machinery
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Own tools suitable for panel wiring and electrical assembly
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
