Permanent Dependent on experience Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm (Flexible hours) Coventry

Project Mechanical Engineer Job Description

• Lead engineering projects and NPI programmes, managing scope, schedules and risks.
• Support the design, development and validation of aerospace mechanical components and heat exchangers.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, designs and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production readiness.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and drive improvements.

Project Mechanical Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant engineering experience, ideally within aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, product development, materials and manufacturing.
• Experience managing engineering projects, risks, schedules and deliverables.
• 3D CAD, simulation, DFMEA and design for manufacture experience desirable.
